The purpose of Barum is to teach students not only how to play the piano, but also how to help share their musical talent with their local communities.
By performing, teaching, helping, and encouraging each other, students learn to hone and sharpen skills that go beyond the musical.
Students of Barum organize benefit concerts bi-annually and then choose which foundations and causes to donate their proceeds.
Barum also hosts competitions to help students continue to improve and perform at their highest level possible!
